- Ensure the parts supply as well as fulfill purchasing process and systems within the given targets for cost, quality, quantity&timing.
- Interface between Engineering (AG and BBA) / Purchasing / Supplier
- Steering of technical changes till the implementation at BBA

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the procurement of components for the local production of the JV including supplier selection, development and maintenance of a capable and reliable supplier ba
-Ensure a continuous flow of the required parts at a competitive price in the appropriate quality, the proper quantity at the right time to the designated location by performing the duties e.g. issue purchase orders to local suppliers, conduct cost analysis and price negotiations
Verify desktop research, decide local procurement policy with suppliers according to the BMW purchasing strategy, perform supplier evaluations pre/post-SOP
Responsible for the procurement of complex modules. Project management of the whole supply chain. Leading and supporting other employees in informal teams to achieve this ob
Responsible to allocate new part number (P/N) to supplier project and buyer ba
Create RFQ and send to local supplier for engineering changes and steering change implementation process
Distribution of gAMS info and follow-up with related buyers to make sure investigation feedback within agreed time line and support buyers and suppliers for gAMS technical queries and clarification with AG Engineering, and evaluate the impact for LC calculation
Representative of project meetings, IPT and launch meetings for purchasing
Strong supporting to logistics and BBT-E-1 in daily operation of TOD clarification and PO status etc
Co-ordination with local suppliers in scope of supplier parts change control process, ensure proper change process and information flow with internal BBA related department as well as outside parties
Tracking upcoming new profile, localization project, gAMS and other info to evaluate and prepare the impact for LC calculation and supplier change control
Qualifications
Bachelor/ Master's Degree / UniversityMin. 4 year experience automotive industry in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field. Knowledge of quality assurance
Technical background of automotive components and whole viehicle
Knowledge of automotive production, tooling processes and change management process. Knowledge of Local content policy is prefered
Understanding of BMW AG and BBA internal change process
Proficiency in Office applications, SAP R3 and BMW AG engineering systems (TAIS, L-Term, etc)
Supplier qualification skills and project management
Analytical thinking, mature, responsible and result-oriented personality. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in inter-cultural environment
Good command of written and spoken English.German language skills preferred
Background in automotive industry 4-6 Years
Experience in automotive production processes 4-6 Years
